At the moment, it's an enjoyable challenge to work on caricatures of Barack Obama, but I'm sure the novelty will wear off before too long. I wanted to do a portfolio piece for this week's inauguration, so I went with the painted look, even though I used this image in an editorial cartoon. I worked on it off and on all weekend in between other work, which allowed me to have some fun and experiment a little, as I had plenty of time.
